Sweet French ladies = chic new bag

Me and Tiffany (friend & YL co-worker) meet every Monday night with 4 French ladies to help them learn English. It's also a chance for Tiff and I to practice French--an added bonus.
The ladies are great and it's been fun getting to know them. One of our most recent comical moments was last week when I was explaining about the Girl Scouts in America. One of the ladies kept hearing "grosse carotte" instead of Girl Scout. Grosse carotte means "fat carrot" in French. You can imagine her confusion and surprise when she thought I was saying something about fat carrots! It made for a good laugh:-)

Tonight was our last night of language lesson until mid-January. The four French gals surprised Tiff and I with a Christmas gift...we each got a new purse! I am blown away at their sweet sentiment. AND, I really like my new Parisian
bag! C'est très chic!

Amy~ It is so shiny and beautiful. I love the color. It looks like cranberry sauce. Pretty.

I know! They did a great job picking it out. Tiff got a different one, but a similar color.

Sweet bag. I'll come over and teach English if I can have one too. Actually, I'd come even if I didn't get a bag...Miss you!
